Student-led Stewardship

Groundswell is committed to helping schools engage their students in high-quality place-based education through environmental stewardship. We help develop lifelong stewards of our Great Lakes through innovative, experiential education.

Currently, Groundswell works with 33 schools, 94 teachers, and almost 5,000 students in West Michigan. Teachers within each school receive extensive, sustained professional development, as well as the opportunity for funding to implement student-led, community-based stewardship projects.

If you would like to learn more about how Groundswell supports schools and what we can offer you and your students, contact us today.
