Khalaya Daniels
Khalaya Daniels is from Detroit, Michigan and is currently a graduate
student in the College Student Affairs Leadership program at Grand
Valley. Khalaya has received her bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor
in African American Studies at Grand Valley State University in 2019.
As a first-generation graduate, she understands the importance of
programs that provide for students from marginalized backgrounds. Her
passion is to work with students of color from diverse backgrounds and
help them achieve their academic and personal goals. In her free time,
Khalaya enjoys hanging out with family and friends, eating out,
watching movies, seeing Broadway productions, traveling, and
experiencing new things. She also aspires to be a makeup artist.
