Samantha Johnson
Samantha is a third-year student at Grand Valley dual-majoring in
Management and Public & Nonprofit Administration and is a member
of the Frederik Meijer Honors College. On campus, she works as a
Student Assistant in the Brooks College Dean’s Office and as Student
Program Assistant and Advisory Board Member for the Padnos/Sarosik
Civil Discourse Program. Samantha is a member of business honors
society Beta Gamma Sigma as well as Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, where
she has served as both Editor/Historian and Service and Giving
Chairman. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Samantha has enjoyed
becoming connected to the Grand Rapids area through various local
volunteer work. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, spending
time outdoors, and exploring West Michigan. Samantha is excited to
begin her second year as a Cook Leadership Academy Fellow
Candidate and looks forward to the personal growth ahead of her as she
continues on in her college career!
