Nicole DiGirolamo
Nicole DiGirolamo is a senior in the Kirkhof College of Nursing at
Grand Valley State University, working towards a double-major in
nursing and Spanish. Nicole's career goal is working as a travel nurse
in an emergency department or ICU unit within a Spanish-speaking or
medically underserved area, where she can work to further expand her
definition of diversity. Nicole has been heavily involved on-campus
during her time at GVSU; she was an executive board member of the
Pre-Nursing Association and looks forward to her first semester as
Vice President of the Student Nurses' Association. Additionally,
Nicole works both in the GVSU Admissions Department and in a hospital
emergency room in her hometown of Macomb Township. In her free time,
Nicole enjoys exploring downtown Grand Rapids, reading, drinking
coffee, and spending time with her family and friends. Nicole is very
excited for the new and exciting opportunities extended to her this
year, including participation as Lead Fellow in the Cook Leadership
Academy and her upcoming study abroad trip to Chillán, Chile.
