Michelle Luciano
Michelle is a young lady from the Westside of Chicago and has 4
siblings, all brothers. She was raised by 2 hard working immigrant
parents and is Chicana. She lost her eldest brother in 2019, and as
his death hit her hard, she made a promise to him that she would
accomplish everything she said she will and become the first in her
family to attend a university and also graduate from one. Michelle is
very energetic and bright. She is also very independent and knows what
she wants in life. She's strong minded and lets nothing get in her
way, especially when she sets her mind to it. She is a first
generation college student and takes her school work very seriously
but loves to go out and enjoy life. She's a very social person and
loves to explore the world and enjoys meeting new people. Her favorite
thing to do is to go out to eat with friends or family as she enjoys
being out and trying new foods. As she is now a 3rd year student at
Grand Valley State, she is majoring in Political Science with the
hopes to attend law school next year.
