Macayla Jones
Macayla is a junior at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI pursuing a
dual degree in business and communication, with a marketing
concentration and Spanish minor. She was an RA during the 2020-21
school year and is extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity
to guide, mentor, and help other students feel more comfortable on
campus. Macayla also works at the Aquinas Advantage Center organizing,
creating, and distributing the First Destination Survey that Aquinas
College utilizes to track where graduates land post-graduation. In her
free time, Macayla can be found helping plan events for the student
led group, Women Empower, which aims to expand the voices of women of
color on campus. Macayla is ecstatic to keep learning and developing
her leadership skills this upcoming 2021-22 school year with the Cook
Leadership Academy, while learning more about herself, others, and the
world in the process.
