Ash Godin
Ash is a graduate student enrolled in the Masters of Applied
Linguistics program at Grand Valley State University. They graduated
from GVSU with a Bachelor's in French in 2019. They currently are the
Secretary at GVSU's Innovation Design Center, helping to support
accreditation, the engineering graduate program, and building
operations for the Padnos College of Engineering and Computing.
Passionate about languages, teaching, and learning, Ash spends much of
their free time reading, listening to podcasts, and studying French,
Arabic, and other languages. Ash loves to travel; they have studied in
Morocco as a Gilman Scholar and worked abroad for the Teacher's
Assistant Program in France. Ash is a second-year Cook Leadership
Academy Fellow Candidate. They are thrilled to learn from
professionals and other students, and to find community engagement
opportunities. They're especially interested in leadership in
cross-cultural and advocacy settings.
