Elijah Weekley
Elijah is a senior in the Frederick Meijer Honors College at Grand
Valley State University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Women,
Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Elijah is originally from Longmont,
Colorado and has learned to love Michigan over his past 3 years living
here. Elijah is currently the President of Euphoria A cappella on
campus, and also served as a Student Senator during the 2020-2021
academic year. Elijah's passions are centered around social justice,
inclusion and equity, and student success. During the winter semester,
Elijah will serve as a TA for a sophomore honors course, and looks
forward to gaining experience in a new role within higher education.
Following undergrad, Elijah plans to attend graduate school for Higher
Education Administration. Elijah is a first year Fellow Candidate, and
looks forward to building meaningful relationships and becoming a
better leader and learner within the Cook Leadership Academy.
