Dawson Coats
Dawson is an extroverted and passionate individual. He loves to spend
time with friends and most importantly family, but he is one to always
continuously work. Dawson spends a lot of his time being President and
Aerodynamics/Composites advisor for the GVSU Formula SAE team; where
he is attempting to make the team the best it can be. Dawson is also
doing undergraduate research in the form of active flow control
aerodynamics with the school of engineering; as well as working for GE
Aviation as a mechanical engineering co-op. Dawson wants more than
anything to work with others to change the world, and is actively
working to do so. A big dream of his is to work for a rocket company
to power the future of space exploration. He also wants to join the
world of sustainability and help save the planet from plastic and
environmental concerns. More than anything though, Dawson has a deep
desire to be the best he can be at what he does, and is willing to go
to any heights to reach this potential.
