Rachel Carpenter is a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in both mathematics and writing. After receiving her B.S. in Psychology, she hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and eventually teach the subject at a university level. She also tutors math and chemistry at Grand Rapids Community College, an area in which she uses the leadership skills she is gradually developing. In her free time, Rachel likes to draw, dance, write fiction, and read books about math. In her first year in CLA, she hopes to further develop her leadership skills, particularly those that require boldness and flexibility.
