Lydia Mae Dunsbergen - Allied Health Sciences and Nursing
Lydia Mae Dunsbergen is a junior at Grand Valley from Stevensville,
Michigan. Lydia is passionate about her faith, international cultures,
missions, working with children, and volunteering. She is studying
Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. She plans to combine her passions
to work in the US, and overseas, as a Pediatric or Obstetric
Registered Nurse after graduation. As a student in the Frederik Meijer
Honors College, Lydia serves as an Honors Ambassador, an Honors
Mentor, and was the former Vice President for ANCHOR Honors Council.
She is on leadership with Campus Ministry as a vocalist on the worship
team. Lydia is the founder of Be the Voice: a non-profit organization
committed to ending the stigma around mental health issues. She is
currently a Biology, Anatomy, and Organic Chemistry tutor on campus
and works as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medical Technician.
Lydia is looking forward to her second year in the Cook Leadership Academy.
