Lucretia Dunlap - Psychology and Sociology
Lucretia Dunlap is a senior at Grand Valley State University double
majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Lucretia has been a research
assistant for three different professors and has also completed two
independent research projects. Heavily involved on campus, Lucretia is
the founder and president of The Sociology Club, as well as being the
president of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
One of the aspects she enjoys most about being president is mentoring
other students and helping them succeed. Lucretia has also worked at
Pine Rest for two years as a psych tech. She is driven by challenging
work and takes pleasure in helping new employees find their footing.
In her free time, Lucretia enjoys traveling, playing video games, and
watching movies with her sister. After graduation, Lucretia plans to
pursue a PhD in clinical psychology, as she wants to go into military
psychology. Her father is a veteran and she values the discipline,
loyalty, and tradition of the military. She is excited to further
develop her leadership skills and connect with like-minded peers
through the Cook Leadership Academy.
