Hannah Shorkey
Hannah Shorkey is a first-year fellow Fellow Candidate with the Cook
Leadership Academy (CLA) and a senior at Grand Valley State
University. Pursing her Bachelor of Arts degree by double majoring in
anthropology and political science with a human rights minor, Hannah
plans to continue her education post-graduation by obtaining her J.D.
with an emphasis in international law. In addition to CLA, Hannah is a
member of the Fredrick Meijer Honors College, serving as an honors
mentor to incoming freshmen. She is also a member of the Grand Valley
Rowing Team, receiving Second-Team Academic All-American national
recognition. Off campus, Hannah volunteers at the Legal Assistance
Center, helping the local community maneuver the legal system and
solve basic legal issues when they are unable to gain access to an attorney.
