About
Cassie DeHaan (she, her, hers) is the Box Office and
Performance Curriculum Coordinator for the Department of Music,
Theatre, and Dance at Grand Valley State University.
Cassie holds a B.S. in Music (Vocal Emphasis) and an M.A. in
Higher Education Administration, both from Central Michigan University
(CMU). While at CMU, Cassie was a member of the B's Music Shop staff
where she taught group and individual lessons, coordinated the lesson
program and recitals, and assisted customers in finding the perfect
gear. Before coming to GVSU, Cassie worked in international education
where she assisted incoming international students and students
traveling abroad. This experience helped Cassie to bridge the gap
between her love for music and different cultures, and she hopes to
study ethnomusicology in the future.
Cassie is a current member of the Chamber Choir of Grand Rapids.
She is also an active member of Sigma Alpha Iota and served as
Province Officer from July 2015 to August 2023.
