Currently musical director with two of the areas premier big bands, Tim can be heard with the Muskegon based "Truth In Jazz Orchestra" (TIJO), and the newly reorganized "Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra" (GRJO).

In 2004 the "West Michigan Jazz Society" voted Tim "Jazz Musician Of the Year!" "Concerto for Jazz Drummer and Orchestra" by Harold Farberman, will spotlight Tim in several New York City performances this spring (2008).
