Ashley Pangan
Ashley Pangan is senior at Grand Valley State University and majoring
in Accounting. She moved here in the United States back in 2010 from
the Philippines and currently lives in Metro-Detroit. She will be
graduating in Winter 2022 and plan to apply for internships to gain
more experience before pursuing a career in Accounting.
Ashley is highly involved in Grand Valley by joining multiple
organizations such as Circle K International, Residence Housing
Association, Asian Student Union, and Phi Chi Theta. Through joining
these organizations, she learned to strengthen her leadership skills,
student advocacy, and volunteering around her community. She is a
Transition Leader for this year's upcoming freshmen to provide them
with valuable information and connect them with their fellow Lakers!
She is also a student employee under the GVSU Housing and the Student
Supervisor for the Winter Hall Front Desk.
In her free time, Ashley loves to do hands-on activities like
sewing, embroidering, and anything DIY to create something new and
unique. She is excited to be a part of Cook Leadership Academy and get
to know herself as a student and how she can impact her community.
