From Classroom Mentors
to Collaborating with Professors

At Grand Valley, our accomplished faculty members are more than experts; they are champions for lifelong learning whose deep knowledge translates into an educational experience that doesn’t just inform, it transforms.

They are instructors, yes. But they are also your mentors, future peers, and biggest supporters. Their commitment to teaching means they invest in your personal growth, guiding you through experiential learning opportunities that will advance your career.

Unlike many institutions, the vast majority of our classes are led by faculty members — not graduate assistants — which results in a personal and collaborative learning environment where students’ questions are met with sound expertise and their aspirations are actively nurtured.
