Donors like you are making it possible for students to prepare for what's next in a changing world, and for Grand Valley to continue to provide the talent our region and our state need for the future.
This year more students are struggling to purchase textbooks, computers, software, and other needed school supplies and equipment. Student need this year has already exceeded last year by more than 30%. Help us close the gap and meet the demand for help by supporting the Student Textbook Fund today.
Kyle '05 and Angela '04 Brown support the Inclusion and Equity Scholarship Endowment because they believe the world needs more champions for this work, and that every gift matters.
They feel strongly that education is critically important, and the impact Grand Valley has had on their lives made their gift to the scholarship a 'no brainer' for them.
“Diversity, equity and inclusion have always been very important to us, and with Angela working in education and now we have a young son, it's something that we've become more focused on. The world needs more champions for this work, and if we can play a small role in making that happen, we're happy to do so.”

Emily Daniels '20 studied health communications at Grand Valley. She always knew she wanted to make an impact in the lives of those around her and be a positive influence in the community in which she lives. As a triage nurse at Procare Pain Solutions, an important part of her job is triaging for chronic pain patients, some who have struggled during the pandemic. After the pandemic disrupted her job and her education, she found hope from the donor-funded Student Support Fund.
