Description
We are excited to welcome new faculty joining GVSU for the Winter 2026 semester!
Because our new faculty have historically appreciated flexibility in attending orientation, we offer a few options from which to choose. We will be hosting a live (synchronous) virtual session via Zoom on January 7, 2025 from 3pm-5:00pm. Additionally, should this date/time not work for your schedule, we also offer a completely asynchronous and self-paced orientation program—email us to get access to these self-paced modules!
New faculty are invited to attend whichever one session is most convenient for them.
The synchronous session in January will provide:
- Hands-on support with GVSU technology including Blackboard, banner, and accessing your GVSU network login
- An opportunity to engage with new and existing faculty
- Time for your questions to be asked and answered
NOTE: you must register for orientation in order to be sent the Zoom links for the January Synchronous Session or the link to access the online orientation modules.
