February Rec Star: Makayla Wilcox
Please join the Athletic and Recreation Facilities Management in
congratulating Makayla Wilcox as our February Rec
Star! Congratulations! Over the month of February, Makayla
has accumulated over 80 hours working multiple shifts between
lifeguarding, facility attendant and SBS shadow shifts, on top of
weekend meetings! Makayla's commitment to the Rec Center shows every
day by always being the first one to her lifeguard shift, always
getting the pool prepped to open and filling in for extra shifts when
she is available to help out! All of these actions, and more, makes
Makayla an exceptional employee! Her positive attitude and hardworking
personality shows what promise she has going into the new role of
Student Building Supervisor, and we have no doubt that she will exceed
at this role! Please join me in thanking Makayla for always being an
outstanding employee over the years that she have worked with us and
we are excited to see her in this new role! The facility would not be
