Connor Foley

September Rec Star: Connor Foley

On behalf of the Athletic and Recreation Facilities Management, please join us in congratulating Connor Foley for being our September Rec Star! Over the course of the month, Connor was willing to help out in any way he could, even with the facility still being close. His willingness to pick up shifts to staff the COVID testing table to help make sure we had someone there did not go unnoticed. The ambition Connor showed in staying longer than his scheduled shift was very selfless and shows his commitment to the success of the team. Not only that, but once the Rec Center did open, Connor hit the ground running – picking up shifts, covering shifts for others, taking initiative in project like organizing the free weights on Court 7, and responded very well to being thrown into Welcome Desk operations. Without Connor’s hard work and engagement during the month of September, the reopen would not have been as easy as it was! Thank you Connor, and congrats!

She is dependable and devoted to leading her teammates by setting an example of unwavering professionalism as well as being incredibly self-directed. In addition to her amazing work in the office, Courtney was also an outstanding Recreation Center staff member. She took her knowledge from the office and applied it to the Recreation Center operations. Courtney has come alongside our office staff where she has been a valued member of the team. Although she assisted in developing training standards for incoming office staff, the quality of her work and her smile will be missed! Thank you for all of the hard work you have put forward during your time here and the work you put in this year!
