Dear Mr. Murray and family,
I would like to thank you for your generosity by supporting GVSU students and the Padnos International Center. Without the Mark Murray Scholarship, I would not have sufficient funding to be able to participate in my study abroad program, Shanghai Summer School. When I studied abroad in 2010, it provided me with the opportunity to explore myself, my culture, and heritage. The program has also allowed me to explore my career path, meet wonderful people, and learn about the importance of life journey. I was also able to witness all the beautiful, historical, and ancient landscape, buildings, and sceneries. With all of these experiences, it has shaped me to be the person that I am today. I not only discovered my life journey, I also learned about my own career path. I have discovered my career goal in higher education, working and advising students, and providing them with the opportunity to develop internationally. Without the generous contribution from you and your family, I would not have been able to gain all of these experiences. Thank you.
