In 2016 I was awarded the Barbara H. Padnos Scholarship to study in Angers, France. During my time abroad I was immersed in French culture and language and was able to become fluent in French.
The Padnos Scholarship opened the pathway to my future. Since, I completed a second year abroad as a Teaching Assistant in France and have been accepted to the University of Montreal for a masters in Environment and Sustainable a Development, a degree that I will complete entirely in French.
Not to mention the relationships I formed during my ear abroad have now blossomed into lifelong friendships. I have had multiple visitors from France in Michigan and have been able to visit friends abroad as well.
None of this would be possible if I haven't been received this scholarship. Eternal gratitude to PIC and the Padnos Scholarship.
