Google co-founder, venture capitalist, and posthumanist, Larry Page, recently declared widespread worries over the potential for A.I. to endanger or supplant human intelligence a form of "speciesism" and "sentimental nonsense." The speculative euphoria of Page and other A.I. investors reveals the extent to which they have accepted the substitution of posthumanist evolution for the promise of solutions to climate crisis, even up to and including human extinction.
