Pew FTLC Summer Writing Challenge

This summer, carve out time to focus on your writing goals in a structured and supportive environment. On select Wednesdays, we’re hosting 1.5-hour writing sessions in JHZ 3000 and on Zoom, offering the flexibility to join in person or remotely. Each session includes:

  • 15 minutes for introductions and goal-setting
  • 1 hour of focused writing time
  • 15 minutes to share successes and reflections

Whether you're working on articles, SOTL, book chapters, professional documents, syllabi, or other writing projects, these sessions provide accountability and momentum to help you make progress. We’ll provide a quiet, distraction-free space, along with snacks and sips to keep you energized. Just bring your materials and a clear goal for the session. Writing can feel solitary, but with a supportive community, the process becomes more motivating, productive, and even fun!

How to Join:

  • In person or remote: Register Here for all the dates you’d like to attend.
  • Remote drop-in: No registration needed—just click the Zoom link on the day of the session.
  • Who can join? All faculty and staff are welcome.
  • Bonus: Each attendance enters you into a book drawing at the end of summer!
