Brady Mills
Brady is entering his senior year at GVSU studying Public &
Nonprofit Administration and Advertising & Public Relations. It is
his first year as a CLA candidate. Brady has devoted much of his time
at GVSU to strategic community building, and he looks forward to his
own leadership development through the fellowship. In his college
tenure, he has participated in Campus Ministry, Forensics Competitive
Speech, University Innovation Fellows, and the Public Relations
Student Society of America. He currently serves as Welcome Activities
Chair for the Frederik Meijer Honors College Student Council, where he
can be found running around campus looking for confused first-year
students. Brady also runs point on a project in Nicaragua called,
"Creative Schools," where he is researching and
collaborating with communities to pursue opportunities for creative
education of their preschoolers. He hopes to continue to learn how
community leaders can reinvest in their social and built environments
to create a strong sense of community.
