Dawson Coats
Dawson is a senior at Grand Valley State University studying
Mechanical Engineering. At a young age, Dawson had a passion for STEM
and leadership. During his time at GVSU, he has put a strong emphasis
on the Formula SAE team designing the first aerodynamics package for
the team, and serving as their President for their most ambitious year
yet. Right now, Dawson is focused on using both his leadership and
engineering skills to develop what he calls "Michigan Launch
Alliance"; an initiative that will bridge the gap between
industry and academia through applicable senior capstone projects.
