Joseph Oosterman
Joey is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Public
Administration, concentrating in Nonprofit Management and Leadership,
with hopes of pursuing work in diversity, equity, and inclusion or
community development. He is a proud alumnus of the University of
Michigan - Ann Arbor who was drawn back to Grand Rapids by family and
the increasing diversity and opportunity in the community. In his
spare time he spends a lot of time in the kitchen baking for friends,
neighbors, birthdays, and weddings. In his first year of CLA, he is
hoping to develop his leadership skills, grow his network in the Grand
Rapids community, and learn from the diversity of voices it is home to.
