Breezy Rusher
Breezy is in his fourth year at Grand Valley State University. He is
currently studying Secondary Education, Psychology, and Biology.
Throughout Breezy's time at Grand Valley, he has been actively
involved with many Student Organizations; Some of the student
organizations he has been part of are our African Student Council,
National Science Teacher Association, and Educator of Color Network.
Which he helps create as a founding member in the winter semester of
2022 at Grand Valley State University. Outside of being an active
member of Student Life, Breezy likes to volunteer his time. Some
places breezy like to volunteer are on the Strategic Retention and
Enrollment Planning committees and Reach Higher 2025, among other
initiates at GVSU to improve his educational institution for those
there and after. Now, how does Breezy feels about his first year in
the Cook Leadership Academy? He is exhilarated for his first year! He
can't wait for the opportunities to get to know great people who are
doing great things. Also, he is looking forward to the chance to
introspect on his views and perspectives.
