Lydia Cooper
Lydia Cooper (Dunsbergen) is a senior at Grand Valley from
Stevensville, Michigan. Lydia is passionate about her faith,
international cultures, missions, working with children, and
volunteering with her church and in the community. She is studying
Nursing and minoring in Biology. She plans to combine her passions to
work both in the US, and overseas, as a Pediatric or Emergency Room
Registered Nurse after graduation. As a student in the Frederik Meijer
Honors College, Lydia has served as an Honors Ambassador, an Honors
Mentor, and was the Vice President for ANCHOR Honors Council. She is
the current President for the Student Nurses' Association. Lydia is
the founder of Be the Voice: a non-profit organization committed to
ending the stigma around mental health issues. Lydia is looking
forward to her fourth year in the Cook Leadership Academy as she
serves as a Lead Fellow for the second time.
