Robert currently serves as a Student Building Supervisor (SBS), a role he proudly stepped into this past summer as a freshman at Grand Valley State University. His journey began at the GVSU Rec Center, where he quickly made a name for himself through his eagerness to contribute and his willingness to take on any role that came his way. A true hometown kid from Allendale, Michigan, Robert brings a strong sense of community and pride to everything he does. His passion for baseball runs deep—he’s a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan whose love for the game mirrors his dedication to teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. Whether he's supervising at the Rec Center or talking baseball stats, Robert’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious. His commitment to the Rec Center and his natural leadership qualities make him a standout among his peers. 

Please join the Kelly Family Sports Center in congratulating Reinhardt Stipp for receiving the Winter Semester Turf Star award! Each semester, this award is given to a team member who goes above and beyond the call of duty in order to ensure the facility they work in is ready and available to anyone who may walk through the doors. Stipp has been a major help in doing just that. This semester he has really stepped up to help prepare for events, learn new aspects of facility management, and assist anyone who needs it all with a smile on his face. Stipp is from Pretoria, South Africa. He is a senior majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Psychology. A fun fact about Stipp is that he has had a broken shoulder since he was 13 years old but he still loves to be active and competes as a member of the Men's Club Rugby team! Congratulations Stipp!
