Preceptor Perks Program Membership
- Preceptor:: Must be assigned to a student for the semester during which they are purchasing a membership.
- The cost of $25 is intended to cover the cost of your membership card. The card will be valid for one year, not to exceed the terms of the employment.
- Proof of dependency is required for all dependents over the age of 18 for family memberships. To prove dependency, please email a copy of a current student college schedule or a current tax form showing them as your dependent to Nicole Brower at [email protected].
- Applications will be processed within 2 weeks. Once processed, members will receive an email stating that cards are ready to be picked up or that existing cards have been re-activated. You will receive a 2-week temporary pass that can be used to gain entry until you receive notification that your cards have been processed. We do not mail membership cards.
- Age requirements of using the facility:
- 14 years of age & up are permitted to workout alone.
- 13 years of age and under are not permitted to use equiment but are permitted to use courts and pool with adult supervision.
- Pool use is included with memberships dependent on lap swim and open swim availability.
- Racquetball courts are free with membership before 5 p.m. on weekdays. Other times there is a $3.00 charge per reservation.
- The Kelly Family Sports Center is included in memberships dependent on open track and turf times.
- Membership does NOT include climbing center use.
- Parking permits are required for parking on the GVSU campus. A permit can be obtained at the GVSU Public Safety Office with a current membership card and driver's license.
