Why E&I?

Why E&I?

E&I Cooperative Services is the largest and most experienced member-owned, not-for-profit purchasing cooperative serving the needs of education. As a trusted advisor to the education community, E&I offers over 100 competitively awarded contracts as well as consulting services and electronic platforms to help you source effectively. Check out the video introduction above for a brief overview of the ways that E&I can work for you.

How to Use E&I Contracts

  1. Go to https://www.eandi.org/ and click on the "Create a Profile" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Fill out the required fields to set up your account.
  3. Use the Contract Navigator to see what contracts are available for use by GVSU.
  4. When you find a contract that you're interested in purchasing from, click on the supplier's logo to view the contract details. Select "Ordering Information" from the menu on the right side of the screen for instructions on placing an order with the supplier.
  5. For purchases totaling less than $5,000, please use your purchasing card (where accepted). For larger orders totaling $5,000 or greater, a requisition must be submitted in Banner Admin. All E&I contracts have been solicited and meet our requirements for the sealed bid process, meaning that regardless of order size, you will not have to go through the bid process before placing an order.
