Position Overview:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance and Administration team with day-to-day financial operations, event reconciliation, and business analysis. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to multi-state business operations, cost accounting, and event-based budgeting within the live events and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in tracking revenue, expenses, and profit margins for multi-day festivals and venue operations.
Support event cost reconciliations, including vendor invoices, labor reports, and inventory tracking.
Prepare financial summaries and reporting dashboards for leadership review.
Maintain and organize digital files for compliance, permits, and licensing documentation.
Support payroll reporting and data verification for event staff and seasonal employees.
Assist in process improvement projects for accounting and cost systems (QuickBooks, Paylocity, GFS Connect, etc.).
Participate in internal finance meetings and cross-functional operations planning.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Interest in the events, hospitality, or entertainment industries.
