Employers - To have an available opportunity posted directly to the GVSU HTM website, please use our Employer Job Posting Form. This form may also be used for volunteer opportunities.
Please Note: In order to keep our internship/employment opportunities as current as possible, if an actual application deadline date is not entered (e.g., entering “Ongoing,” or “Until filled” instead of a real deadline date), the post will only remain live for a maximum of three months. After this time, the post will be deleted and you may resubmit your opportunity if it is still available.
Handshake - NEW TO GVSU!
On June 19, 2018, the GVSU Career Center and GVSU Student Employment transitioned from LakerJobs to a NEW online job posting and event management system called Handshake. This state-of-the-art platform will offer you the valuable services that LakerJobs did, but with expanded capabilities. Employers, students, and alumni are invited to visit the Handshake Transition website for key information about this transition, and to create a Handshake account.
"Work Like a Laker" Podcast
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) requires that ALL students complete three internships. These internships allow students to gain important, relevant knowledge and professional experience within the field. Each HTM student is required to find their own internship. Please refer to the link above for current internship/employment opportunities.
