Workday Student Course Descriptions & Office Hours

Overview

  • Seven Workday Student training courses are available for faculty/staff and will be offered live instruction both in person and via Zoom.
  • To view which courses are recommended based upon your GVSU role, see the Training Courses by Role page.
  • Training roles include:
    • Academic Administrative Support: staff who provide administrative support to academic units, i.e. Academic Unit Coordinator, Professional Support Staff (PSS) 
    • Advisors
    • Deans & Assistant/Associate Deans
    • Faculty
    • Student Support: staff who provide support to students,  i.e. Student Success Coaches, Professional Support Staff (PSS), Advisor adjacent roles

Each course topic includes opportunities for In-person or Virtual Instructor-led Courses. Registration will be available by the end of August 2026.
