Opportunities for Involvement

Informed Community Member

This group includes all faculty and staff, who are expected to stay informed by reading the monthly Workday newsletter, attending Zoom project update sessions (the next is scheduled for September 2025), and participating in training sessions in 2026 and 2027.

WDS Student Liaisons

Faculty, Advisors, C5s, and Academic Department Coordinators serve as unit or department liaisons. They are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, coordinate project messaging and activities with leaders in their area, participate in testing, and visit the WDS Liaisons page for updates and resources.

WDS Leader Network

The Student Leader Network, Assistant/Associate Deans and key advising and student affairs leaders, will support student success and guide their teams through the Workday Student rollout. They’ll ensure continuity, join update meetings, and collaborate across departments to strengthen communication and shared ownership.

Topical Participant

Faculty and staff from across the university provide valuable input on an ad hoc basis. Like subject matter experts, they attend Workday Student project meetings as needed to offer insights on relevant topics.

Subject Matter Experts

The Student Leader Network, made up of Assistant/Associate Deans and key advising and student affairs leaders, will support student success and guide teams through the Workday Student rollout. They’ll help ensure smooth operations, join update meetings, and collaborate with campus leaders to strengthen communication and shared ownership.

Advisory Teams

Advisory Teams provide input to support the Workday Student rollout. The Communications Advisory Team ensures clear, targeted messaging for the campus community. The Academic Affairs Advisory Group represents diverse voices within Academic Affairs to include multiple perspectives in decisions.
