Service Learning Programs
Community Based Learning (CBL) is a pedagogical strategy used in coursework that requires students to engage with community partners as part of their required academic work in a specific course section. Three Social Work courses have been approved for CBL designation:
- SW 317 - Generalist Practice I
- SW 679 - Program Monitoring and Evaluation
- SW 660 - Grant Writing and Resource Development
The School of Social Work hosts several faculty-led International programs. These programs are typically two week long programs with many opportunities to be involved in the social work process in a variety of settings. The following programs are associated with the School of Social Work:
