The Greek Standards & Assessment Program (GSAP) is Grand Valley’s signature tool for assessing, supporting, and celebrating the success of fraternity and sorority chapters. Rooted in our shared values, GSAP helps chapters grow, promotes a well-rounded experience for members, and ensures we’re upholding high standards across our community.

Why GSAP Matters

The GSAP isn't just a checklist. It's a way to communicate the value of fraternity and sorority life to everyone: students, families, alumni, advisors, faculty, staff, and national organizations. It highlights the powerful, positive impact of fraternal organizations and provides a roadmap for continuous improvement.

Each year, chapters build a GSAP portfolio that showcases their work, and meet with their Chapter Coach to review progress, identify growth areas, and set SMART goals that guide chapter operations and officer transitions.

Each area includes action items that chapters complete annually to demonstrate their commitment to their values and to the campus community.
