GVSU Manistee River Trail Backpacking Trip

Nestled in the Manistee National Forest the Manistee River Trail will serve as your introduction to backpacking/hiking in Manistee County.

This perfect weekend hike offers a varied and dynamic perspective of the natural beauty of lower Michigan. This overnight trip will follow the ~10 mile Manistee River Trail for an end-to-end hike. You will not want to miss this opportunity to explore the natural wonders the Michigan forests have to offer.

Join us, as we adventure in our own backyard!
