Ofrendas Vivas: Celebrating Day of the Dead

Students
Join Kaufman Interfaith Institute, GVSU Libraries, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs in celebrating Día de Muertos. Learn of the importance of this holiday in Mexico and Guatemala as you enjoy delicious Mexican-style hot chocolate and Bread of the Dead (pan de muerto). The event starts at 1:30pm and the formal program will start at 2:00pm. There will be a small lecturette, an interactive activity, and a special suprise! The altar will be on display from Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Nov 3. Please ensure you stop by and check it out!
