NSSE/FSSE
National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
GVSU has participated in NSSE periodically since 2005. In addition, we participated in BCSSE, the pre-college companion survey, in 2009 and 2015, and FSSE, the companion faculty survey, in 2005. Following are documents summarizing responses of GVSU participants.
GVSU faculty and staff can also request guest access to NSSE's report builder tool, which allows further customization of the data. Approval of this request requires a human response to an email, so it will not be granted instantaneously or outside standard GVSU office hours. As a rule, you should review the resources below (particularly the Executive Summary and Frequencies and Statistical Comparisons reports) before requesting guest access.
