Honors Student Organizations
Honors Student Council
The Meijer Honors College Student Council encompasses three areas that assist the Honors College in opportunities for its student population, Welcome Days, Programming, Summer Overnight Orientation and the Mentor Program. The council assists in hiring the Mentors, Welcome Days planning, organizing events throughout the year and serve as the FMHC Office's "go-to" students whenever student input or help is needed.
Honors Affinity Alliance
The Honors Affinity Alliance, previously the Professional Society for Minorities in Honors, aims to create unity in diversity and educate students on events that are occurring in our everyday lives! This group welcomes minorities from ALL ethnic, racial, sexual/gender, and disability groups to become members. We also welcome ALL allies to join us!
Honors Familia
Honors Familia is a vibrant and inclusive affinity group nestled within the Fredrik Meijer Honors College, dedicated to fostering a sense of community and support for the Latinx population within the honors community. Embracing the values of academic excellence, cultural celebration, and camaraderie, Honors Familia aims to create a nurturing space where members can share experiences, build connections, and celebrate their unique cultural identities.
