Funding Resources for Faculty
CLAS faculty have access to a variety of funding opportunities to support experiential learning, student engagement, and professional development.
From mini-grants for on-campus events and field experiences to larger awards for piloting new programs, these resources are designed to enhance teaching and learning both inside and outside the classroom.
The opportunities listed below are managed by the CLAS Center for Experiential Learning, the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship, and other campus partners.

Process to use 15 seat vans without a fee
Learning Takes a Road Trip
In order to provide barrier-free learning opportunities outside of the classroom, the college is piloting a van pool during the 24-25 academic year. Available to CLAS faculty on a first-come, first-served basis and is a free service. Each van can transport up to fifteen of students and can be used for day trips as well as extended travel. To get started, faculty need to fill out the registered driver form and take the van orientation course.
