Student Academic Success Center

 The Student Academic Success Center fosters student development and academic success by providing support services for students to assist them in achieving their educational goals. 


Tutoring Center 

The Tutoring Center's aim is to help students understand difficult content by clarifying questions related to the subject, providing practice with problems and concepts, and teaching study techniques.

Writing Center

The Writing Center's well-trained peer consultants can help you to brainstorm ideas, organize content, integrate research, polish a draft, and correctly document sources.

Campus Interfaith

At GVSU, we seek to support and celebrate the religious, secular, and spiritual diversity of our campus. Campus Interfaith Resources exists to both accommodate the unique needs of various faith-based groups on campus while also proactively appreciating the richness of our diversity through educational and engaging programs.

Disability Support Resources

The mission of Disability Support Resources (DSR) is to provide support resources and accommodations that enhance the environment for persons with disabilities and to help educate the university community on disability issues.

Gayle R. Davis Center for Women and Gender Equity

The Center for Women and Gender Equity strives to create meaningful learning about gender and to advocate for gender justice through the education, engagement, and empowerment of students and the greater GVSU community.

Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center

The Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center advocates for institutional equity, promotes community-building, and provides educational opportunities to create an informed, cohesive, and just campus where community members of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender presentations are supported and welcome.

Replenish (A food source for students)

Replenish, provides food and personal care items to meet the short-term challenges that students may face when unable to purchase such items. Obtaining an adequate food supply is often a major component of financial stress and research has proven that inadequate nutrition decreases academic performance. 

University Counseling Center 

The team of trained professionals is committed to improving the mental health of the GVSU student body through counseling, education & consultation. Free counseling services are offered to students such as: one-on-one counseling, group counseling, emergency services, peer education programs, special events, and more!
