All camps take place on the Grand Valley State University Campus! This is a great opportunity for students to get immersed in STEM while making friends and having fun on a college campus!

Check camp websites for registration deadlines.

  • June 24 - 28 Young PI (Principal Investigator). (High School - Junior & Seniors) 
  • July 15-18 Engineering is Elementary (rising 1st-5th grade). Learn about engineering! CAMP IS FULL
  • July 29 - August 2 Advanced Manufacturing (rising 6th-8th grade)→ www.gvsu.edu/rmsc/advmfg  Work in Manufacturing!

STEAM Along the Lakeshore

  • WHEN: Saturday, May 4, 2024 | 10 A.M. - 3 P.M.
  • WHERE: Hackley Park | Muskegon, MI
  • WHO: Pre-K to high schoolers and their families/guardians
  • WHAT: STEAM Along the Lakeshore is an adventure that encourages students to engage in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activities and take home supplies to continue their explorations!


Make sure to visit Hackley Public Library, Lakeshore Fab Lab, Lakeshore Museum Center, and the Muskegon Museum of Art. There will be many activities for everyone! Check out more details on Facebook

Discover! Millennium Park

Save the Date for the 2024 “Discover!” Millennium Park’s Hansen Nature Trail Event - Fun and free discovery event for all ages!
Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Millennium Park’s Hansen Nature Trail, located at the corner of Butterworth and Riverbend Rd. Approximately 3880 Butterworth Dr SW, Grand Rapids MI.  
Kent County Parks and Kent County Parks Foundation, with support from Certified Master Naturalists, are sponsoring a FREE and FUN discovery program that includes nature stations, a nature scavenger hunt, live animal presentations, free tote bags, free Native Plants, and more!
