Molecular Minds

June 15 - 19, 2026

Molecular Minds Chemistry and Biochemistry Summer Day Camp is a day camp designed for high school students to engage in hands on experiments and activities involving pipetting, chromatography, intermolecular forces, molecular separations, synthesis, enzymes and drug discovery. Students will gain experience using advanced research instrumentation and learn about college and future research opportunities.

Summer Writing Camps 2026: Write Your College Essay Workshop

August 3 - 6, 2026

Write Your College Essay is a workshop for high school students applying to college in the fall. The workshop includes 12 hours of group and individualized instruction, and feedback. Each student will finish the workshop with a completed Common App essay that will be ready to apply to colleges. Students will have to do work outside of designated class times to get the most from the sessions.

GVSU Brass Day 2027

At GVSU Brass Day, high school brass musicians are invited to spend an afternoon at GVSU listening to, rehearsing, and performing brass ensemble music alongside current GVSU brass students. The event will be led by and feature masterclasses with GVSU professors Alex Wilson (trumpet), Rebecca Salo (horn), Ryan Christianson (trombone), and Paul Carlson (euphonium and tuba).
