2026 Summer Financial Aid Application

An important factor in planning for Summer is to review the amount of federal aid you have used during the Fall and Winter semesters as this may limit your eligibility for Summer aid (including federal student loans). Complete the application below to have your aid eligibility reviewed. To discuss your unique situation please contact us or stop by our office at 100 Arend and Nancy Lubbers Student Services Center.

Enrollment Requirements

  • UNDERGRADUATE: Awards will be based on full-time attendance (12 or more credits). If you are not enrolled at least half-time (6 credits), your federal loans will be canceled.

  • GRADUATE: Awards will be based on half-time attendance (4.5 credits). If you are not enrolled at least half-time, your federal loans will be canceled.

  • DOCTORAL: Awards will be based on full-time attendance (9 or more credits). If you are not enrolled at least half-time (4.5 credits), your federal loans will be canceled.

NOTE: The total credits between both sessions will be combined to determine your total credit load. Your 2026 Summer award uses the 2025-2026 FAFSA. If you are considering dropping to less than half-time, please contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships first to see how this will impact your award.
