My role centered around driving ticket sales, managing ticket operations, engaging with customers, and contributing to revenue generation. What did I sell? I successfully sold a diverse range of ticket packages, including: - Season Tickets - Single Game Tickets (Grandstand & Court-side) - Premium seating options - Hospitality areas - Birthday packages - Fan Engagement Packages (FEP) such as the Court of Dreams, High Five Tunnel, and Anthem Buddies Accolades - G-League Midseason Rookie Sales Leaderboard: - Achieved $96,554 in total ticket revenue, earning 5th place among Rookie sellers across the G-League. - Generated an impressive $52,565 in Group Revenue, securing 3rd place among Rookie sellers. - Sold a remarkable 1,875 Group Tickets, ranking 3rd among Rookie sellers league-wide.

Major: Sport Management As a member of the promo team, I was responsible for running on-ice games, finding fans to compete in these games, as well as set up and take down of signage, games used on the concourse and items used in the promos. I have also been the in-game host when needed throughout the season, and been able to co-direct a hockey game with my boss.

Grand Rapids Gold Promo Team

Major: Sport Management As a promo team/game day intern, there are many different roles that need to get filled every night. Mainly there are people who throw t-shirts, rebounders/floor moppers, bench assist, bench security, working the merchandise tables, or people who run the in-game presentation. Each role uses a unique set of skills, and requires openness to doing something different on a nightly basis. There is also pre-game setup, and post-game teardown elements that each intern does that usually correlate to the job that they have been given on that night.

Major: Sport Management Assisted with box office setup, sales, will call, and customer service duties, participated in promoting all Griffins ticket-related activities, including distributing flyers and collecting names, and supporting other ticket sales programs as determined by management, and ensured high-quality customer service for all Griffins patrons.

Major: Sport Management I started as an intern in the summer of 2024. This included shadowing sessions, taking notes, weight room set up and clean up. I started as an apprentice in January of 2025 which is a paid position where I began to run my own training sessions and start to work in to a full time position.

LHS Athletic Department

Major: Sport Management Much of my time is spent setting up and tearing down game day events with various sports, such as basketball and gymnastics. During those game days, I would also be taking tickets and handling the money from the patrons, or I would be working the scoreboard for sports like basketball and soccer. One interesting task I had was to research historical conference, district, and regional championships for athletics in order to update the presentation of our athletic records.

Major: Sport Management I helped schedule, create teams, inputting eligibility, equipment maintenance, and running day to day/gameday operations for all home games for middle school. I also worked on budgets, designing and ordering new jerseys, organizing a postseason tournament for adult softball, supporting coaches, and much more.

Major: Sport Management My responsibilities included a wide range of tasks that ensured smooth operations for various sporting events. These included pre-game and game-day setup for venues, managing parking and traffic control on football game days, and serving on the sideline as soccer ball crew to support in-game operations, as well as substitutions. Additionally, I operated scoreboards for volleyball, basketball, and baseball games, maintained game statistics for basketball, and assisted with setup and teardown for track and field events.

Grand Rapids Griffins Game Day Internship

Major: Sport Management Worked mainly with the game day ticket sales team to assist in the box office. Helped with areas such as the Will Call line for anyone picking up tickets left for them during game days, the Ticket Resolution line for anyone who is having issues using their mobile tickets, and the Ticket Selling line for any walk-up ticket purchases. Throughout the game, our team also contributed with aiding the promotions team by participating in the T-shirt toss and Throw for Dough promotions which positively impacted fan experience.

Major: Sport Management As the GVSU Director of Football Operations, my tasks include coordinating day-to-day team events, distributing gear and equipment to players and staff, planning and ordering meals, coordinating transportation to and from all games. Additionally, help plan and execute youth and summer recruiting camps, coordinate official and unofficial recruiting visits, and game-day operations. Managing football equipment and supplies, maintaining effective communication with coaches, players, and staff. And ensuring NCAA regulations and university policies are followed.

Major: Sport Management Being a marketing student assistant, I have done various tasks. This includes playing music, operating the videoboard, handing out promotional items, facilitating in-game promotions, writing game scripts, sponsorship fulfillment, on-campus marketing, etc. These tasks are in every sport we host: soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, lacrosse. Within my time in this position, I've been fortunate enough to have gotten to run some of these events myself, with other students being my main assistance during the games.

Game Day Ops

Major: Sport Management As a game day ops intern, my job is pretty wide spread. We show up a few hours before puck drop to ensure everything is set up and prepared when doors open just an hour before game time. There are some roles that we get assigned per game: working the team store, following the mascot, helping photographers, shadowing Calvin (our game day ops manager), help with intermission games, and my personal favorite... Chuck-A-Puck! We let all the kids in the arena come out on the ice to help clean up all of the pucks that have been thrown and its so fun seeing them so excited to be out on the same ice that some of their favorite home town players skate on.

This includes dealing first hand with parents, coaches and the school.

Major: Sport Management I am a part of a team consisting of nine interns and we have traveled across 11 states over the course of the summer and conducted 13 junior golf tournaments. We set up the golf course and serve as the rules officials throughout the tournaments.

Ops Never Stops

Major: Sport Management In the first two weeks we were instructed to move a full metal gazebo on top of one of our concession stand outlets. The gazebo would then become our "Zipline Concessions" where we would sell beer and send the beer down a zipline to the customer. My day to day tasks would be setting up my areas on game day. Making sure everything is clean, set up correctly and having all food prepared for game day. Also, I was incharge of the part time staff that was assigned to my areas for the day and also volunteers when we had them.

USPBL Marketing Internship Experience

Throughout the season I have written ad reads for local radio stations and assisted in writing press releases. On game nights my jobs varied but I was responsible for clipping the live game feed and posting clips to twitter for in-game updates.

Special events is responsible for hosting/carrying out the 35+ parks sponsored events that range from day-trips to the Popcorn Festival, arguably Valpo's largest event. I have been specifically tasked with implementing the new golf attire suppliers, "Good Good," as well as offering a hand wherever needed among other departments. My day-to-day duties can consist of taking photos at youth tennis camps, to meeting with police officers about policies, as well as traffic control for our races/more populated events.
