1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation, I've stayed local to Grand Rapids. I worked in
talent acquisition, and healthcare staffing and I'm now working in HR
for a local technology & design firm downtown. I love the city and
that I get to work in the heart of it. My best friends are still those
I made at Grand Valley as an RA - we lived together for years after
graduation (& through the pandemic). Now I get to hire Grand
Valley students as part of my role!
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Being an RA on campus was such a fun time. Never a dull moment
and SO many stories are still talked about. My best friends came out
of that experience and we are still close now!
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Don't worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will worry about itself.
Trying to stay present and positive each day. I really do think we
each have unlimited potential - we just have to tap into it!
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Transformative, FUN, and Growth
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to leave everything I touch, better than I found it.
Better than that - I want each person I meet to feel important &
valuable. We all can learn so much from each other - it's just making
the time and space to listen :)
